From staying in the most beautiful cottage I’ve ever seen…to spending time with other like-minded book lovers… to the warm hospitality by Christen and Chris who opened their home and beautiful barn to us… to the delicious food prepared for us by Helen… to the goody bag and the tour of The Morrab Library it just felt like a complete break from reality. Much-needed rest and relaxation and a factory reset to kickstart me prioritising reading more again.

The ad read 'come to my Cornwall home and enjoy a weekend of reading...' The weekend with Christen was so much more than I expected. Middle Colenso Farm is a hidden gem with beautiful gardens. The accommodation is, for a mid-century furniture lover like me, an absolute dream. Oh and Helen's food is wonderful. Christen is a fabulous host.
I will remember this weekend forever.
